This range includes both one-part and two-part silicones available in a variety of styles.
Popular styles like RTV-100 Series from Momentive, the SCS range of Neutral and Acetic Cure Silicones and high-quality sealants from Weicon are all available in several different colours and styles. To further enhance this range, we can also offer different primers to assist with bonding various types of materials.
We also stock a large range of more specialised silicones like our oil and grease resistant Black Seal, our high temperature HT 300 and our two-part RTV 627 which is ideal for encapsulating and moulding work.
Electrical Varnishes & Coatings
Whether you require an insulating, air dry varnish or a high voltage resin for motor impregnation, we have a variety of options available.
Our air-dry range includes our high quality, Elmotherm 009-0008 Varnishes. These are available in a selection of colours with most offered in both aerosol spray or liquid containers. We are also pleased to offer Glyptal 1201 Red Enamel which combines excellent electrical properties with many other corrosion, wear and surface protection capabilities.
Our selection of dipping, baking and impregnating varnishes is also incredibly broad. We have partnered with some of the world’s leading manufacturers to offer everything electrical repairers require including Elmotherm 083-1980 Baking Varnish, Epoxylite, Dobeckan and more.

Associated Gaskets is pleased to offer a comprehensive selection of Thread Lockers, Pipe and Cylindrical Assembly Adhesives. This range includes a huge selection of styles with various degrees of strength, viscosities, approvals, cure times and applications.
With grades capable of everything from locking small stud bolts to securing gear wheels to smooth metallic shafts, the Weiconlock is used by a wide range of industries. These include the automotive, marine and transport sectors as well as the hydraulic, electrical engineering, construction, pump repair and facilities maintenance industries.
Fingersavers – Hands-Off Safety Tool
A must-have for any plant that has workers using flogging spanners, impact wrenches or hydraulic torque equipment. FingerSavers let you perform your task while keeping your hands safely away from impact zones, pinch points and potential hazards.
These high-quality hands-off tools have been proven to reduce worker injury rates in a number of industries around the world and are now seeing their use mandated by many companies here in Australia.
Tough, durable and very long lasting, FingerSavers are available from Associated Gaskets in different sizes. These include the popular Compact design (small enough to fit in a toolbox), the original standard and the extra-long size which allows for two-person operation.
Electrical Putties & Compounds
AG Queensland is pleased to offer a large and comprehensive range of putties and compounds for electrical applications. These include Permafil IMI 3285, the non-hardening R391 Electrical Weatherproof Compound and our Epoxy Resin Putty which is widely used for balancing motors as well as rebuilding work.
In addition to these three popular styles, many more are available. Our entire range of Weicon Repair Sticks have good dielectric properties and are often ideal for small, patch jobs. For larger jobs, we can also offer our Plastic Metal range of which again, all have very good electrical properties and can withstand extreme amounts of abrasion, wear and (for some grades) temperature.
No matter if you are looking for a dielectric putty for sealing around a cable junction, filling gaps, rebuilding a shaft or repairing a casing, our range includes s a number of potential solutions.
When it comes to high temperature fabric, there’s typically a trade-off between mechanical strength and temperature rating. Fibreglass is strong, yet limited to about 550°C. Ceramic withstands far higher temperatures, but is limited in strength. Refrasil premium grade silica cloths bridge this divide.
The full range of Refrasil Cloths includes a number of distinct grades that each offer their own collection of benefits. The UC100 series is the standard grade and provides exceptional insulation performance in environments up to 982°C. AR100 is an abrasion resistant variant on this.
For higher temperatures, we are also proud to offer our Irish Refrasil. This premium grade cloth is pre-shrunk and insulates up to 1260°C.
Lubricating & Multi-Functional Sprays & Liquids
Our growing range of lubricating and multi-functional fluids and sprays features many everyday grades that can benefit any workshop. These include our W44T Spray which cleans, dispels moisture, lubricates and protects and is available in a selection of sizes and grades. It also features our silicone, PTFE and AT-44 spray along with many, many more specialised grades.
Many of the lubricating products are available in both spray or liquid variants with many now also available in specialised, food-grade variations.
Since so many of these combine many features into one single product, we’ve found them to be ideal for reducing time spent on maintenance and the need to hold multiple stock variations.
Our range of electrical cables is constantly evolving so you can rely on AG for all your high-voltage cable needs.
Our selection includes everyday types of cable such as 600V silicone coated cable all the way through to 13.8kV high-voltage Silicoul. We also stock a selection of more specialised cables like Radox R155, 4GKW-AX Traction Cable, Urethane Coated Cables and many more.
The vast majority of our cables are kept in a large range of sizes with some, such as the low voltage silicone coated range, also available in a number of different colour options.
Wherever possible, we offer our cables in the lengths you require. This means no minimum order quantities for most grades and the option to buy just enough for the job.

Our Queensland branch is much more than just a warehouse in Brisbane. The real reason it exists is to provide personal, local service to all our customers all over Queensland, the Northern Territory and a little of Northern NSW.
Below are just some of the services provided by our Queensland team. This is a summary only, they’re really there to help in any way they can.
Product Advice and Suggestions
One of the best things about our job is getting to help people solve problems. We really enjoy finding new solutions for new applications, or identifying the best product for a particular need.
While we will continue to publish product information and videos on our site, sometimes there’s no substitute for personalised advice and service.
Our Brisbane team have a wealth of experience with all kinds of sealing, insulating, bonding and many other types of applications and would be very glad to help you find a solution to fit your needs. Whether you’re looking for a lining material for a very high temperature oven, an exhaust manifold gasket material, or a threadlocker able to withstand 200°C, we can help.
We understand how urgent some requirements are. Waiting for goods can sometimes simply not be an option. That’s a big part of why we have our branches, to keep local stock available to help all of our customers out when things can’t wait.
Associated Gaskets Brisbane keeps a huge range of different materials in stock. Everything from gasket and sealing materials to different types of thermal and electrical insulation, adhesives, tapes and safety products are kept on hand. We’ll be the first to admit that not everything is in stock, but a large amount is.
If you need one of our products quickly, the branch is a great place to start. On the off-chance they don’t have it on the shelf, they’ll do their best to get it to you as quickly as possible and, if it’s an item you’ll use again and again, we can look to keep it locally for you.
To check if a particular size of item is in stock, please do contact our Queensland team.
Sample Identification, Measurement and Reverse-Engineering
Sometimes, all you have to work from is the old part. This can be true with a blown-out gasket, an insulator out of a motor, or what’s left of a boiler door seal. No matter, if you can bring in your old sample, we’ll be happy to help identify the material, measure it up and produce a new one.
With our years of experience, we’re used to the challenges of working from less than perfect samples and can help compensate for missing parts or identify alternatives to older materials that are no longer made. We’re also not afraid to get our hands dirty and will be more than happy to help measure and inspect the item.
Whether you need a couple of new gaskets or a couple of hundred, our Queensland team is here to help work out what material and size you need, and get you your new ones as soon as possible.
For some jobs, bringing in a sample isn’t really practical. We understand. When you need someone to come out and help measure a flange or identify a material that’s still in service, our team can help with that as well.
For years, Associated Gaskets Queensland has been conducting regular visits to all of our customers in the surrounding region. These can often be arranged urgently to help with breakdowns or other time-sensitive needs.
We’re more than happy to get our hands dirty and really enjoy having the opportunity to see first-hand some of the amazing uses people have come up with for our products. To arrange a visit from one of our experienced team, please do get in contact with our Brisbane branch today.
