Weicon Flex 310 M 2K is a fast curing two-part adhesive based on a special hybrid polymer formulation that is used to create high-strength bonds between a wide range of materials including most metals and plastics, without the use of a primer. This high quality adhesive and sealant is also non-corrosive, weather and UV resistant and free of silicone, isocyanate and solvents.
The special hybrid polymer formulation is particularly suited to full-surface bonding of larger parts and can even be used to fill gaps up to 10mm. These properties have seen Weicon Flex 310 M 2K used primarily for structural and permanently elastic bonding in industrial manufacture and assembly applications including:
- Metalworking
- Tank and apparatus construction
- Furniture manufacture and repair
- Ventilation and air conditioning
- Electrical industry
- Yacht and ship building
- Wherever silicones or products containing silicones are not suitable
Grey in colour, in its uncured form Weicon Flex 310 M 2K has the consistency of a solid paste. With a pot life of approximately 5 minutes, 310 M 2K cures fast and reaches load bearing strength after just 1 hour. Once cured the adhesive sets to a hardness of 40 shore A and can handle temperatures of between -40°C to 90°C whilst still remaining flexible. The cured adhesive is also sandable and overpaintable (using the wet in wet method).
