Votafix E 2102 Preconsolidation Tape is a high quality prepreg material, typically used in tape form, which is manufactured from a combination of a thin glass cloth base combined with a large proportion of modified epoxy resin.  This specialised tape is easy to handle and offers a high resin flow when pressed to fill voids or cavities in any surrounding insulation.

Votafix E 2102 is usually used for the preconsolidation of coils on high voltage apparatus and can be used wherever resin is applied under “dry” conditions and cured using both temperature and pressure.  It is employed in applications with operating temperatures up to 155ºC.

Standard size rolls of Votafix E 2102 are 0.13mm thick x 25mm Wide x 50Mtrs Long.
