AG’s Red Silicone Rubber O Ring Cord (60 Duro) is a versatile and high-performance sealing material designed to withstand demanding conditions. Made from 60 Shore A hardness silicone, this cord is flexible, durable, and exhibits excellent resistance to aging, UV exposure, and ozone, making it ideal for outdoor and high-temperature applications.

The Red Silicone Rubber O Ring Cord can withstand continuous temperatures from -60°C to 230°C and short-term peaks up to 260°C. This heat-resistant capability makes it suitable for use in a range of industries, including power generation, lighting, construction, food and beverage, and HVAC systems, where reliable sealing is essential.

The cord’s chemical compatibility is broad, offering resistance to various substances such as alcohols, hydrocarbon oils, water, animal and vegetable oils, and aliphatic hydrocarbon fuels. However, it is not compatible with aromatic or halogenated hydrocarbons. This chemical resistance further enhances its versatility across different applications, particularly in environments where exposure to oils and fuels is expected.

Custom Silicone O Rings

In addition to supplying the cord, AG is pleased to offer custom-made Silicone O Rings. Using one of our premium quality adhesives, we are able to produce these seals to suit your requirements. For smaller quantities, custom Silicone O Rings are often a far more economical option than getting seals moulded.
