AG’s Refrasil Sleevings are braided from high purity silica fibres whist have been specially treated, pre-shrunk and texturised. The resulting sleevings are absolutely fireproof, resistant to oxidation and most corrosive solutions all while providing excellent insulation performance in applications reaching 982ºC.

Available in both standard and heavy wall varieties, AG’s standard wall Refrasil sleeving is particularly versatile as it can be stretched over a wide variety of cable or hose sizes whilst the heavy wall (1.65mm as opposed to 0.8mm) will provide maximum thermal protection. Available sizes vary by style but typically range from 9.5mm ID through to 63mm ID.
