Manufactured from a calcined mica paper with aramid fibres and bonded to a glass cloth carrier with a modified silicon resin, Poroband SI 0790 has excellent flexibility and exhibits no mica lass during machine taping.

This high performance tape is used for the insulation of coils or bars in traction motors with a thermal classification of up to 240ºC that are insulated with using VPI technology and a solvent free silicon resin.

Manufactured by Isovolta in Europe and trusted by motor manufacturers and rewinders for years; Poroband 0790 is reliable and easy to work with. It is typically stocked in 20mm and 25mm wide tapes though others, including custom slit varieties may be available upon request.
