A specialised grade of interlock braided pump and valve packing, Marigold 8000T-WO Packing is manufactured from a unique combination of self-lubricating, abrasion resistant yarns designed to withstand the rigours of high shaft speeds without scoring. Even in these demanding environments, Marigold 8000T-WO remains highly durable and conformable thus providing long lasting performance.
Marigold 8000T-WO Packing is used in applications with a maximum operating temperature of 260º and offers exception chemical resistance. This packing is used with strong acids and alkalis, steam, dry industrial air, ammonia gas, water, salt water/brine, bromine gas, chlorine gas, petroleum, synthetic oils and aliphatic and aromatic solvents. It is not suited for use with strong oxidisers.
In pump applications, Marigold 8000T-WO has a pressure rating of 20 BAR whilst in valves, this rises to 124 BAR. This high quality packings has a shaft speed rating of 15 MPS and is employed extensively in centrifugal, rotary and reciprocating pumps as well as in valve service and other static sealing applications.

Standard sizes of Marigold 8000T-WO being at 3.2mm² and range through to 25.4mm² with custom sizes also available upon request. AG’s normal pack contains 8mtrs though we can also supply this quality gland packing in custom lengths or prefabricated packing rings to match your applications’ requirements.
