Marigold 8000LC Packing is an interlock braided packing produced from industrial grade graphite filament. An economical substitute for many braided carbon packings, Marigold 8000LC Packing has a very low coefficient of friction and extremely high thermal conductivity.
Designed for use in either pumps or valves, Marigold 8000LC Packing exhibits excellent chemical resistance and is used with media with a pH valve of 0-14. This packing carries a temperature rating of 455ºC for air, 649ºC for steam and 3155ºC with non-oxidising atmospheres.
Marigold 8000LC Packing has a shaft speed rating of 20 MPS and exhibits good resistance to elevated pressures (34 BAR in pumps, 276 BAR in valves).
This high quality packing is used to seal all kinds of valves as well as centrifugal, rotary and reciprocating pumps.

Marigold 8000LC Packing is available from AG in sizes that range from 3.2mm² to 25.4mm² and can be supplied in standard lengths (8mtrs), larger coils or specially made preformed packing rings.
