Meeting NEMA GPO-3 requirements and exceeding them in dielectric strength, arc and track resistance ETR-FR-C is a UL recognized grade of polyester glass that is rated to 130 ºC in electrical applications (160ºC for mechanical) according to IEEE standards.
Red in colour, Haysite ETR-FR-C is highly flame retardant and low smoke generating and is commonly used as insulation in high voltage equipment, as bus bar supports and barriers in switchgear. ETR-FR-C offers a combination of good electrical insulation performance, high mechanical strength and cost effectiveness. It is available in sheet for in a range of thicknesses or can be fabricated by AG to meet your specific needs.
