Gylon 3504 Gasket Material (also known as Blue Gylon®) is a premium grade jointing manufactured by Garlock. The Gylon range of gasket materials are all manufactured from PTFE combined with special filler materials designed to enhance the properties of the fluorocarbon particles. As it is PTFE based however it still withstands attack from an extremely wide range of chemicals which making it able to provide a superior service life in a wide variety of applications.
Gylon 3504 also meets specifications from a range of regulatory bodies including ABS (American Bureau of Shipping), FDA (Food and Drug Administration and USP (US Pharacopeia) as the material itself does is not flammable and does not support bacterial growth.
This quality gasket sheeting is able to withstand temperatures between -268°C and +260°C. It has a maximum pressure rating of 55 bar (800 psi).
