4238 Glass Filament Tape is an adhesive electrical insulation tape manufactured from a high dielectric strength polyester film. This film has been reinforced with fibreglass filaments and is coated on one side with a high strength acrylic, thermosetting adhesive.

With an overall thickness of 0.19mm, this adhesive filament tape is transparent in colour and offers very high tensile strength coupled with excellent conformability and adhesion. This makes for a tape that is easy to apply.

Thanks to its high resistance to puncture, abrasion and edge tear, 4238 Glass Filament Tape is easy to use during electrical repairs or system assembly and offers very long lasting performance.

4238 Glass Filament Tape displays good resistance to a wide range of chemicals, solvents and transformer oils and offers high dielectric strength and electrical insulation performance.

This UL approved and flame retardant tape is slit by AG to any custom width required. It is typically used for coil lead, coil cover and saddle tie down applications as well as the bundling of electric motor and transformer coils.

The standard roll length of our 4238 Glass Filament Tape is 55mtrs. Since AG slits this quality electrical insulation tape in-house, rolls can be produced in whatever width you require for your application.
