Weiconlock AN 306-30 Cylindrical Assembly Sealer is a specialised, high quality adhesive designed for the permanent locking and sealing of cylindrical assemblies made from passive materials. Because of its special formulation, this adhesive will cure quickly on these surfaces which are otherwise hard to bond to without use of a primer. This feature allows for faster bonding and simpler, reliable adhesion and sealing.
Typically, bonding on surfaces such as high-alloyed steel, aluminium, nickel, zinc, gold, oxide layers, chromate layers, anodic coatings, plastics or ceramics with an anaerobic adhesive can be difficult as the low surface energy results in a long cure time. Weiconlock AN 306-30 Cylindrical Assembly Sealer does not experience such problems meaning that you can successfully bond these materials without the use of a primer or activator.
Weiconlock AN 306-30 Cylindrical Assembly Sealer is green in colour and has a fast cure time. It is used in environments where temperatures may be as low as -60ºC or as high as 180ºC. This high quality grade is also approved by BAM for use in oxygen service.

Available Sizes
Weiconlock AN 306-30 Cylindrical Assembly Sealer is available from your local Associated Gaskets branch in 20ml, 50ml or 200ml bottles. These special pen shaped bottle allow for easy, accurate application while the base minimises the chances of any spillage.
Surface Preparation
In most applications, Weiconlock AN 306-30 Cylindrical Assembly Sealer does not require pre-treatment of the surface as even slightly oily surfaces cab still be adhered. That being said, best results will be achieved on cleaned and degreased surfaces (Weicon Surface Cleaner is ideal for this task). If required the parts should be slightly roughened.
Processing
Weiconlock AN 306-30 is ready to use from the moment you open the bottle. It should be evenly applied direct from the bottle/tube with the dispensing tip (avoid direct contact between the dispensing tip and metal). Weiconlock AN 306-30 should be applied evenly around the thread.
Do not pour any excess Weiconlock fluid that has made contact with metal back into the bottle. Even the smallest metal particles will cause the contents of the bottle to cure once the lid is re-closed. In series construction or production line situations, the use of manual or automatic applicators is suggested.
