AG’s insulating tadpole tape is typically manufactured using our premium grade fibreglass insulation tape wrapped and sewn around a bulb of fibreglass rope. The result is a durable, high-temperature insulation tape capable of handling temperatures of 500ºC for extended periods.

Completely manufactured in-house using AG’s state-of-the-art sewing facilities and wealth of experience, any component of this tape can be varied to match the specific needs of your application. This includes different bulb sizes, tail widths, materials and roll lengths.

Typically used as a door seal for high-temperature equipment, AG is also able to manufacture this insulation material in pre-formed shapes that match the exact dimensions of the equipment. This allows for reduced labour in fitting and ensures an excellent insulation seal.
