AG’s Polyester Glass Rod combines high physical strength with excellent dielectric properties, dimensional stability and resistance to most common solvents. Available in a range of sizes, AG’s Polyester Glass Rod can be further machined to suit tight dimensional requirements or the precise needs of your application.
Manufactured from continuous filament reinforced fibreglass coupled with a thermoset polyester resin, AG’s Polyester Glass Rod is used in 200ºC electrical applications where it offers good heat resistance, long service life and a high strength-to-weight ratio.
AG offers our Polyester Glass Rod in sizes ranging from 6.4mm Ø through to 25.4mm Ø as standard though other sizes and custom lengths can be provided upon request.
