Calmicaglas 0893 Resin Rich Insulation Tape is made from a combination of uncalcined mica paper, glass cloth and a thermosetting epoxy novolac. 0893 is a highly flexible product which can be easily taped around tight bends and irregular shapes and offers a high rate of resin flow.
Calmicaglas 0893 is typically used for the insulation of coils and bars on low and high voltage machines (with a thermal classification of up to 155ºC) where it excellent dielectric, thermal, mechanical and chemical properties are of benefit. It can also be used for the fabrication of moulded insulation parts such as commutator caps or for the fabrication of wound tubes and cylinders.

Available Sizes
Calmicaglas 0893 is available in either 0.18mm or 0.28mm thicknesses. It can be supplied by the log roll (1000mm wide), by the metre or as tapes slit to custom widths. All forms of Calmicaglas 0893 are supplied interleaved to protect against premature bonding between layers.
