C8200 Gasket Material

A premium grade of gasket fibre designed for sealing aggressive chemicals in high pressure environments.

Used in applications which require a gasket material with excellent resistance to chemicals and the ability to handle greater pressures than standard PTFE.

C8200 gasket material is a premium grade of gasket fibre designed for sealing aggressive chemicals in high pressure environments. Manufactured from a blend of compressed fibres with an acid resistant binder, C8200 is used in applications which require a gasket material with excellent resistance to chemicals and the ability to handle greater pressures than standard PTFE.

C8200 exhibits high resistance to a wide range of chemicals, these include: strong organic acids, most mineral acids (including dilute nitric acid, concentrated sulphuric acid and concentrated hydrochloric acid), alkalis, ketones and solvents. It also shows good resistance to hydrocarbons, fuels, oils and refrigerants.

A premium quality product, C8200 has been tested in accordance with a number of international standards (refer to the TDS for more information. AG offers this high quality gasket material in standard sheets of 2000mm / 1500mm and in standard thicknesses of 0.5mm, 1mm, 2mm and 3mm. Other sheet sizes and thicknesses may also be produced upon request.

In addition to offering sheet material, AG is able to provide fully fabricated C8200 gaskets. These can be produced from used samples, sketches, drawings or flange dimensions (or standards, if applicable) and can be delivered on short-lead times with no minimum order quantity.
