C4430 is a high quality general purpose gasket material manufactured from compressed synthetic and glass fibres that are bound with a NBR (Nitrile) binder. The material has outstanding stress relaxation properties and excellent resistance to air, water, oil, fuel, gas and a wide range of chemicals. It is finished on both sides with a 3XA anti-stick coating which aids with flange separation and reduces installation time. It also removes the need for application of grease or sealants which may result in failure of the gasket.

C4430 Gasket Material carries a range of international approvals for use in specific applications. These include (but are not limited to) AGA Certification to 4623-2008 Class III, Pressure 2 MPa, AS4020 (Products for use in contact with drinking water), Approval for gas supply in accordance with DIN3535/6, WRC Approval (Water Research Council, UK), Germanischer Lloyd General Shipping and Firesafe to BS5146.

AG offers this high quality grade of gasket material in standard sheets of 2000mm / 1500mm (other sizes are also available when required). Standard thicknesses are 0.25mm, 0.4mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm and 3mm. We’re also able to offer gaskets made from C4430 to suit any standard or custom sizes sealing requirement. Many standard sizes of tables gaskets are held in stock whilst other custom sizes can be quickly produced without minimum order quantity. For large gaskets, we can also supply in dovetail segments for reduced material usage and easy on-site assembly.

C4430 is typically used in flange sealing applications expected to encounter medium pressures and temperatures. For assistance with determining this materials potential suitability for your application, please contact your local AG branch.
