AG’s blue vertex treated fibreglass cloth consists of a plain, woven fibreglass fabric that has been Vertex treated. This treatment drastically improves the flame resistance, temperature resistance and strength of the material, resulting in it being used for continuous service in applications where temperatures reach up to 870ºC. Blue Vertex is also effective in shielding against molten metal splash.

AG’s vertex treated fibreglass cloth still exhibits many of the other benefits of the fibreglass range, offering high dielectric strength, excellent solvent, sunlight and aging resistance as well as very good chemical resistance. This combination of qualities has led to blue vertex treated fibreglass cloth being utilised in a wide range of applications including as welding curtains, thermal blankets, stress relief blankets, flange and valve covers, gasket and thermal barriers.

Available Sizes

AG offers Blue Vertex Treated Fibreglass Cloth by the roll (45.7 metres long), metre or as custom fabricated components. Thicknesses available are 0.8mm or 1.5mm thick. AG also offers a tan coloured vertex treated cloth in 0.8mm thick and a heavy black vertex cloth in 3mm thick.
