3M Scotch-Mount 4008 Double Sided Tape is a high quality double sided adhesive tape manufactured from a firm, open cell polyurethane foam coated on both sides with an acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive. This 3.2mm thick tape (3.36mm if liner is included) is natural in colour with green plaid paper liners.
3M™ 4008 Double Coated Foam Tape is used on a wide variety of substrates and displays very good resistance to a range of solvents. It withstands continuous temperatures of 105ºC (190ºC for short periods) and offers high ultimate bond strength and high shear holding power. The thick construction of the foam on this grade allows for good contact between slightly un-parallel items whilst the bond strength of 4008 Double Coated Foam Tape only increases with time to ensure a strong and reliable adhesion.

These high quality tapes are available in 1.6mm (#4016), 0.8mm (#4032) and 3.2mm (#4008 described on this page) as standard, though other thicknesses and specialised grades are also available upon request.
In addition to custom slit rolls, AG also offers these high quality product in custom cut component form. We can die cut and kiss-cut precise dimensions and supply finished components for easy application with reduced material wastage.
